The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

Key words in this definition are partnering, thought-provoking and maximize potential. These are the elements that differentiate professional coaching from other forms of support for organisations or individuals.  The value of a coach lies in their ability to serve as an insight-provoking partner, supporting the client to design their own actionable and sustainable strategies for success.

About your Coach

Throughout your personal planning (coaching) sessions you will be working with Sarah Reynolds (PCC level Coach, ACA  and CTA-qualified at Deloitte).  These session may be either virtual or in person. 

What to Expect

As you move through the programme you will work directly with Sarah to develop your own personal plan to build resilience, manage stress and lead from the front. You can focus on what is most important to you and prioritise your time more effectively.

Be Prepared

You will get maximum benefit from each session if you prepare in advance and think about your objectives beforehand. Read our pages on Maximising Your Coaching Sessions (link below) for more information.

Be prepared to work on agreed actions and objectives between sessions as well. Neuroscience tells us that it takes approximately 21 days for new neural connections to form. So in order to allow new actions and behaviours to become “habitual” we need to consciously do them for at least three weeks. Therefore you will follow up on agreed actions and changes from one session to the next to see how well positive new habits are developing.
